Be wise when shopping for new gear.<\/p>\n<p>Before you purchase a new bouldering crash pad. The inner foam is a very important part of the product. Make sure to inspect the foam inside the cover. You can access the foam by opening the velcro or zipper hatches. Typically located on the side or spine of the pad.<\/p>\n<p>Beware of\u00a0 brands that skimp on foam quality, by using cardboard or plastic corrugated board. Also, bouldering crash pad foam should be solid. It should not be made from scrap, particle foam.
